Anna Apple is one of two apple varieties recommended for Southern California. This summer-ripening apple needs very few chill hours and fruit ripens off-cycle from the destructive coddling moth. Anna has done very well in our orchards and produced at an early age. 
The fruit is sweet, lightly tart and very crisp. Ripens to a yellow-green with a red blush. 
 Self-fruitful, but will fruit more when pollinated by Dorsett Golden.
