Coconut Coir Brick

Coconut coir, or coco coir, is the brown fibrous coat that can be found between the outer and inner shells of the coconut fruit. It is used as a growing medium in the garden and helps retain moisture which is essential when starting seeds or maintaining a hydroponic growing system.  

Sold in dried bricks, coco coir must be hydrated in a large bucket and flushed for any residual salts before adding it to your soil mix.
